The purpose of this program is to:
- Help employees overcome fear and anxiety about speaking up
- Teach employees how to give and receive safety-related feedback
- Help create effective safety conversations between employees and leaders
- Emphasize safety as everyone’s responsibility
No matter who they are to what they’re doing, everyone is responsible for speaking up when they see an unsafe situation and also for providing positive feedback when they seed good safety performance. Likewise, everyone is responsible for listening when someone else gives safety feedback. If it’s related to safety, it’s everyone’s job.
