KEC Foundation

KEC Foundation Vision

To celebrate the vision and determination of the KEC’s founders who chartered the organization on August 18, 1941, the KEC Foundation was established to collect and distribute donations and legacy gifts from individuals who desire to express appreciation to the Kansas electric cooperative program in a charitable fashion.

The KEC Foundation has established charitable status through the Topeka Community Foundation (TCF). TCF has been operating since 1983 and manages more than 325 similar funds from individuals, families, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Your tax deductible contributions can be cash or other assets including gifts through wills, trusts, or insurance proceeds.

If you have any questions, please contact Lee Tafanelli, CEO, at 785-478-4554 or ltafanelli@kec.org.
